I truly despise this textbook. Perhaps it's because my graduate-level assessment class is churning through 2-3 of these dense, dry, unfriendly-to-learn-from chapters each week and trying to get through every mote of content, but I hate even looking at the pages.The text on each page is single-spaced. Despite this being a stats and assessment-oriented textbook, text is blocked into chunky paragraphs. Key words are not highlighted or defined, but are (occasionally) written in italics, making them hard to see. The authors did not seem to make any effort to make the content clear, linear, or (at all) concise. What could be made into bullet points or a pro/con table is written out in a 350-word paragraph. Why??
